Sheesham Wood Incense Box with Brass Inlay Vine Design

Each box is made from sheesham wood. Sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) is a hardwood indigenous to India. The wood for this item comes from renewable forest plantations.

Each item is hand made in India. The box has a cut out fretwork pattern along the top with the brass inlay design along each side. At one end is an opening which incense sticks can be kept in and inside is a hole at each end to put the sticks in for burning as well as a groove along the middle to catch the ash.

The sheesham wood has been waxed to bring out the natural colour and grain and to give it a semi gloss finish.

Each box comes wrapped individually in brown paper.
