Oracle Deck: 60 Cards
Book: 174 pages
Card Size: 7cm x 12cm

The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards is a set of 60 cards and accompanying 174 page book. The box is designed to resemble an old book, which opens to reveal space for the cards and book.

The LWB

The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards

The accompanying book is a small format book measuring 14cm wide and 12.5cm tall and has 174 pages, including a section at the back for notes. The first section is an introduction to The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards and how to use the cards. The majority of the book concentrates on the 60 cards in the deck. Each card has a description, definition and a moral, with a colour illustration of the card. The final section of the book has a guide on how to read the oracle cards and seven spreads to use, including: Open Book Spread, Summary Spread and Relationship Spread.

The Cards

The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards

Unilke some of the other tarot and oracle decks I've revieved, the cards for this deck are of a fairly manageble size, being only 7cm x 12cm. Each card is fully illustrated with a scene that depicts the card meaning. The illustrations are in a frame on a black background, with the card number and title printed at the bottom, which are numbered from 1 to 60. The cards themselves are also gilt edged which nicely compliments the gold lettering of the card title. All the illustrations are digital, yet done in a realistic and vibrant way. I really like this particular style and it works well for the subjects depicted on the cards.

Rather than list the entire deck, I'm just going to choose some selected ones:

1. The Enchanted Emporium
14. Distant Shores
29. The Gatekeeper
36. Kissed
42. Victory
51. The Butterfly Queen
58. Lady Winter

Initial Thoughts

The Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards

I do like these oracle cards, and while the cards are of a size to handle easily, the illustrations might have been brought to better effect on a larger size card. I especially like the design of the box - overall a very nice set of cards to own.
