The theme of the first issue is Witchcraft. Of international scope, Abraxas has contributors from Australia to California, from Mexico to Italy. By placing a pre-order, you ensure a copy is delivered to you straight off the press. I think you will understand why we are excited and gratified.

Issue One: Witchcraft.
The witch, the sorcerous artist, is an elusive figure rising above and sinking below the horizon of visibility, from the twisting of red threads in a hovel in the medieval Dorgogne to the oblations amidst traffic at a crossroads in Times square. Witchcraft, sorcery, the cunning arts – their men and women are nameless mostly but a few names achieved notoriety. Some names we know for their practice, others for the images conjured by accusers. The cast of artificers runs from Joan of Arc to George Pickingill, Gilles de Rais to Alex Sanders, Gerald Gardner to Albrecht Durer, Doreen Valiente to the Grand Inquisitor. And the unknowns – those whose traces are in the currents of the streams of the invisible. We conjure, we remember, we invent.
Our partner, Fulgur Ltd.
Over nearly two decades the publishers Fulgur Limited have established a reputation for high-quality book production within the esoteric genre, and have a proven record in fostering the fine and visual arts: from established figures such as Austin Osman Spare, Michael Bertiaux and Steffi Grand, to gifted younger occult artists such as Andrew Chumbley, Orryelle Defenestrate Bascule and Barry William Hale.
