Burton Dassett Well. The cover seems to be built of the local ironstone, that was quarried just up the hill from the site (it's now a Country Park that can be seen from the M40.) The front is open and there are steps leading down into the well itself. It appears to have been filled in at some point, though there is still water in there. There is a plaque on the rear wall of the well house.
