The Pentagram.
Is a five pointed star, that represents the five Elements of the
Wise. It is also the symbol of the perfected human being. The
four elements of material creation are surmounted by the fifth Element Of
Spirit, the element that links us to the divine.
Each of the points of the Pentagram relates to a particular element and
correspondence.
Water
Is the element of love, that which unites and binds us to others and to the
universe around us. Water represents the religious element of Wicca.
Fire
Relates to energy, will, passion, in Wicca the Magickal Powers.
Earth
Wisecraft is Earth, the practical knowledge of the Wise Woman and Cunning Man
Air
Relates to the mind, intellect, word, thoughts, philosophy, our ideas about the
Universe and our world view.
Spirit
Represents Wicca as a initiatory Mystery Tradition, the mystical aspect of
Wicca.
