The Crystal Bible: A Definitive Guide to Crystals - Volume 1 and 2 By Judy Hall

Two essential guides on the covers the practical and esoteric properties crystals, including spiritual, mental, psychological, emotional and physical effects, and in crystal healing. I've decided to review both these books in one as I believe that they should be bought as a pair as they both compliment each other.

The Crystal Bible: A Definitive Guide to Crystals - Volume 1
Judy Hall

Paperback: 400 pages
Product Dimensions: 16.6 x 14 x 2.6 cm

The Crystal Bible: A Definitive Guide to Crystals - Volume 2
Judy Hall

Paperback: 400 pages
Dimensions: 16.6 x 14 x 2.6 cm

The Crystal Bible: Volume 1 & 2 by Judy Hall

These small format books each have 400 pages each, whilst not quite being pocket sized as they are quite weighty.  The book is split into three parts, the first part covers some general background on crystals and their formation, crystal healing, selection, care and using crystals for meditation.

The second part of the book is the crystal directory, and like DJ Conways Crystal Enchantments, is ordered by A to Z.  Each crystal has information on it's colours, appearance, rarity, sources, attributes and healing properties, as well as the position to be used on the chakra or body.

The third part of the book has information on crystal shapes, a quick reference guide for: crystals and the zodiac, chakras, auras, correspondences, divinatory meanings and finally a glossary.

Where this book differs from DJ Conways Crystal Enchantments is that each crystal has it's own photograph, sometimes in several different forms like tumbled, cut and raw.  Each book has over 200 crystals in each and whilst I haven't looked at every single one yet, it should probably cover most of the crystals you're every likely to come across.

What would have made these books absolutely perfect would have been to have the crystals grouped together by colour, which would have made it it excellent for identifying crystals if you happen to forget what one is.

I would probably recommend buying both these books with Crystal Enchantments by DJ Conway, as the strengths of each book perfectly compliment each other, with each expanding on the other.

This is, like it says on the tin (well, on the front cover anyway), my crystal bible.
It's the book that gives the exact answer to any crystal related question!
It has never let me down, and is so comprehensive!
I'll give it 5 stars any day!
